Breville Group Head Gasket Seal 54mm

Aftermarket 54mm head gasket seal for the shower screen/group head for your home espresso machine such as the Breville Barista Express and Breville Pro.  This is the main seal between your portafilter and the espresso machine.  It is a serviceable item and signs of wear usually display with water leakage from the group head when extracting an espresso shot.  The pink M Coffee head seal has been made slightly thicker than the standard Breville head gasket to prevent leaks and maintain pressure.

Installation/Warranty

We have sold hundreds of these seals.  The correct installation method is important not to damage the seal and we do not accept liability for any seal damaged during installation.  Although we offer a video tutorial on how to replace the seal we recommend the seal to be installed by an authorised espresso technician.

If you have a leaking group head or if you are losing pressure, replacement of the seal may not be the only requirement to fix the issue.  These are serviceable items and require regular replacement but other faults can also cause your machine to leak or lose pressure - see here.  Premature wear of the head seal will occur if you have a loose head collar, this may need to be tightened and can be carried out by a technician such as this demonstration video here.
