Colombia Yellow Bourbon - Washed Extended Fermentation (EF)
Our current filter specialty offering straight from the coffee roaster!
This coffee is from a microlot in Timana, Huila and is 100% Yellow Bourbon. EF stands for Extended Fermentation which is a new processing method devised by farmers in Colombia that have had great results with this new method. We tried a lot of the EF coffee's in our origin trip to Colombian in June 2019 and were blown away by the sweetness and complexity achieved through this new processing method. The coffee was harvested with a strict ripeness criteria by being exposed to a dry fermentation of 50-hours with the pulp and then a following 50-hours after pulping.
As a coffee roaster, we’ve roasted this blend to bring out the most of its natural flavours. This specialty coffee has been roasted light to suit filter style brew methods such as drip, pour-over, plunger and other filter methods.
Because this is an exclusive coffee we are only selling it in 100g and 250g lots.
