Our current filter specialty offering straight from the coffee roaster!

This coffee is from a microlot in Buenavista, Quindio from a farm named Finca la Divisa.  EF stands for Extended Fermentation which is a new processing method devised by farmers in Colombia that have had great results with this new method.  We tried a lot of the EF coffee's in our origin trip to Colombian in June 2019 and were blown away by the sweetness and complexity achieved through this new processing method.  The coffee was harvested with a strict ripeness criteria fermented for 48-hours with the pulp on and a further 48-hour dry fermentation afterwards.

This specialty coffee comes close to our heart not only for its amazing sweetness but our personal visit to Diofanor's farm was one of our highlight's on the trip.  We climbed his mountain, drank coffee on his farm and even ate exotic fruit from his crop.

As a coffee roaster, we’ve roasted this blend to bring out the most of its natural flavours.  This specialty coffee has been roasted light to suit filter style brew methods such as drip, pour-over, plunger and other filter methods.

Because this is an exclusive coffee we are only selling it in 100g and 250g lots.

😋 Flavour Notes:

Insane sweetness with a red sherbet texture.  Other notes include caramel, red fruits, orange and almond.

✍️ Recipe:

Filter Brew Ratio: 1:15
Brew Time: Less than 2-minutes (depending on brew method).
This means that for every gram of ground coffee added into the filter there is 18 grams of hot water.  Still stuck?  Check out this link to learn more about brew ratios: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipB6P1uzNYM
